It appears that the firmware update has now caused the error message:

This site can’t be reached, DNS_PROBE_FINISHED_NXDOMAIN.  From reading other support, it appears that I need to go back to a firmware version previous to the current one.  How to I accomplish this?  Thank you for your support.

Try enabling ipv6. 

Many were fixed with simply having that enabled. 

If you do downgrade, you get it from the support site and then follow the manual update process but use the older firmware.
