RP7000P Router & Mesh Extender
I have the Nighthawk RP7000P router. I also have
the WN7000RP router extender.
Would substituting the Netgear Mesh Extender for the WN7000RP give me a stronger signal? Or, are the Mesh Extenders compatible with the 7000P router?

What's that?
I can't find it in the Netgear system. Not even on Google.

The "strength" of wifi signals is down to the law and to various standards. Different routers don't sell so much on "stronger signals" as on extra features and how many antennae and bands they offer.
So start with the problem.

Any particular model of Mesh Extender?
Mesh is a different technology. The idea is that you can have several wifi sources that can talk to each other and provide a seamless service as you move around. The R7000P may not play ball. I have an Orbi system running in AP mode, feeding from an R7800 with the wifi turned off.
