Replacing Nighthawk R7900 AC3200 to a R8000P AC4000
Good day to us all and apologize if this question has been answered.
I have a R7900 and going to have it replaced to a R8000P, my question to the group is there a way to port over setting and device list to the new router without the need to add each single device back to the new router?

There isn't. You'll need to setup the new router from scratch.

Not sure why you'd want to go from the R7900 to the R8000.
the R7900 hardware wise is a R8000 with 256qam disabled on the 2.4ghz band.
Basically the same device.
And its 7 years old.
I'd be looking at something a little newer.
