I have nmy router and when I try to change things the router says my account is under an old email address that is no longer usable. I do not remember my password and it will not let me into the security portion of the router app. How do I change this? Or get a password to get into it.

Don't use crappy apps to manage a router. You can perfectly do that using its Web UI at http://192.168.1.1

if it asks you for security questions and you don't remember, a factory reset with the button at the back will fix it (press it for 5-8 seconds)
