Transfer device to new owner
Hi
I just sold my AC1900/C7000v2 cable modem and the new owner is having some issues getting it activated with Spectrum. After transferring through several different departments they told him to call Netgear (l have no idea why) and Netgear told him the device is registered to me.
I know the support/warranty doesn't transfer but since he is having issues and I don't want him stuck with a device he can't use, is it possible to transfer the product registration into his name?
Honestly I don't know what the issue is that spectrum need him to contact Netgear but that's where we're at.
