WNCE3001 problems with firmware upgrade
I have spikes of connection lag/shutdown for few seconds every 2 or 3 minutes, for the rest of the time the connection is perfect, I wanted to try upgrading the firmware but in a page it says to download a zip and then open the .exe file(there isn't any .exe file in that zip) and in another one it says to register on routerlogin.net (that's what I did) and then go to the settings but I can't seem to find these settings anywhere in the entire page.
Thanks

_Which_ "a page"? Thanks for the helpful link.

Does anything in either of those (secret) "pages" suggest that it
applies to your device?
Did you consider trying this radical concept (which works for some
people):

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look
for Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for
"Upgrade the Firmware".
If you've already downloaded the kit, and extracted the files from
it, then you might try reading the Release Notes file which is provided
in the kit.
