It seems only business models use PoE.
Any recommendations?

You can use business class equipment in a home. They will sell it to you.
I'd only make sure to keep an eye out for those that require a subscription for certain capabilities.
also in AP setup: RAXE500->EAX80
1.4gig download/50mbps upload from Xfinity

Re: Wifi AP using PoE
I've used the WAX218 with great success. There's a bunch of other models so I'd just search for what features you'd prefer.
You can go here:
Wireless Access Points - Wifi Access Points | NETGEAR
and there's a filter for POE. Easy way to see whats available and covers your needs.

Re: Wifi AP using PoE
Those are all n the "Business" section.
Will netgear sell one to me for home use?
(I am retired SW developer, so I should be able to figure it out)
