internet connetion status

installed my new nighthawk r7000 router. updated the firmware to V1.0.11.106_10.2.100. the issue i have is in the basic tab under internet, it show as not connected, but i know for a fact that i am connected. my isp is specturm. so what gives. i dont understand why is it not showing as connected.
