r7900 - Lose internet connection daily
I have the Nighthawk X6 R7900 Router, Arris SB8200 Modem, and Wowway 1gig Internet.
We lose connection to the internet on a daily base. I did update to the latest firmware. Any advice on how to fix this so I don't have to continuously restart my system?

Re: r7900 - Lose internet connection daily
does it happen multiple times a day?
Does it happen at specific times?
Is it all devices? just wireless devices?
Does it say "connected, no internet"? What actually happens?
What firmware is on the router?
Make sure nothing else is connected to the SB8200. It does have 2 ethernet ports but it doesn't mean it accepts more than 1 device connected to it.

Re: r7900 - Lose internet connection daily
does it happen multiple times a day? I'd say 0-2 times a day
Does it happen at specific times? Times vary
Is it all devices? just wireless devices? All devices
Does it say "connected, no internet"? What actually happens? Haven't looked to see what it actually says. But laptops, phones, tvs, Alexi all go offline.
What firmware is on the router? v1.0.4.38
Make sure nothing else is connected to the SB8200. It does have 2 ethernet ports but it doesn't mean it accepts more than 1 device connected to it. Noted, and checked, only the router is hardwired to the modem.

Re: r7900 - Lose internet connection daily
Are you able to log into the isp modem and look at the modems logs and see if you have a bunch of timeouts?
