10 yr old Nighthawk R700; has worked like a champ.
Suddenly delivers 403 firbidden trying to access ONE website (a broker) (Tradestation.com) for ALL devices in house.
Usual tricks don't work (reboot PC, power cycle modem, router)
What DOES work is bypassing Nighthawk by plugging modem straight to PC.
Any thoughts/fixes come to mind for this bizzare behavior?
Thank you

Thanks all for the suggestions. For the sake of closure:
I Replaced my 10-yr old workhorse R7000 w/a new AX4200 (RAX43) which resulted in a new IP being assigned. Problem solved.

Re: sudden 403 on a single website R7000
Is any Armor or parental controls enabled on the router?
Any changes made to the router as of late?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Try different DNS on the router from the auto detected ISP DNS by the router?
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

Huh? I have "Get Automatically from ISP" checked when I log into the router. I have not tried "Use these DNS servers" option (out of fear of the unknown)

It probably won't cause the single-site blockage, but that firmware is seriously out of date, near on four years old. About 10 versions behind the latest.
R7000 Firmware Version 1.0.11.216 - NETGEAR Support
I have seen odd blocked sites. They usually boil down to something at their end or to my browser.

Try using Google or Cloudfare DNS custom DNS here to see.

Maybe a factory reset and setup from scratch would be in order.

Re: sudden 403 on a single website R7000
Possible that may have been the issue. Just needed a new WAN IP address.
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
