MK83 devices refuse to connect to both satellites
Recently purchased a MK83 system with two satellites. Firmware is updated and the satellites are 30-40 ft. away from the router. Not matter what I do no devices will connect to either of the satellites by wifi, ever. The web gui and the app show zero connected devices to a satellite, only to the router. Both satellites show being connected, blues lights but it’s like they’re not even there. I understand the devices determine which node to connect to but the satellites are pretty far apart and they still refuse to connect to a satellite.
I’ve set up dozens of mesh systems, Orbi, Velop, TPLink, ASUS, you name it, I’ve never experienced an issue like this.
Any ideas or has anyone else experienced this issue with a possible fix?

Re: MK83 devices refuse to connect to both satellites
Have you logged into the satellites and looked on their connected device list?
whats between the router and the satellites? (walls and what made of)
Have you tried setting the 2.4ghz/5ghz broadcast power down a little?

Re: MK83 devices refuse to connect to both satellites
Hey Plemans,
I did a full reset and new setup and everything seems to be working well.
The app continues to show no devices connected but when I login to the satellites it does show
the devices connected to them. So far so good.
Thanks for the tips it helped.

Re: MK83 devices refuse to connect to both satellites
Must just be an app issue then if they're showing when you log into the satellites.
You can report a bug on it. Follow the guide here:

Re: MK83 devices refuse to connect to both satellites
Latest firmware installed. Latest iOS app version installed.
Approximately 30 devices across router and two satellites.
If I log into the satellites themselves it does show what’s connected to each one.
On the iOS app it shows no devices on either of the satellites but they show as all
being connected to the router.

Re: MK83 devices refuse to connect to both satellites
I used network map, then satellites and then connected devices in the app as you described.

Re: MK83 devices refuse to connect to both satellites
After going back and forth a bit between the app and logging directly into the satellites it seems
there’s a bug in the iOS app that doesn’t allow connected devices to appear for each satellite.
Can anyone else confirm this on their iOS app?
