My router is not connecting to WiFi and 2.4 and 5 ghz keep blinking. I contact service provider and said it is something wrong with modem. I have unplugged etc. I have been on phone for awhile troubleshooting. I do not know what it can be. Device is only 9 months old

Your modem/router does not "connect to WiFi". It produces it so that other things can connect.

 

What does "keep blinking" mean? How fast?

 

It is usually a sign that the Wifi is working and that someone is using.

 

Visit the support pages:

Feed in your model number and check the documentation for your hardware.

 

Look at Table 1. Front panel LEDs and button of the modem router

Check the section in the manual Troubleshoot With the LEDs.
