Nighthawk
There was a sticker with a password "freshink" and the a number. I put the sticker on my printer then later traded in my printer for a newer model. I forgot to take off the sticker.
Now I want to run a new computer on Netgear...can you help please?
Thanks

Re: Nighthawk
Start by telling people what this Netgear device is. The model number.

Which password? Wifi? Router admin?
Most Netgear kit has these printed on the device itself. No stickers involved.

If you mean the product label, with the model number, serial number,
default wireless-network credentials, regulatory data, ratings, and so
on on it, then that must have been a tough job, as well as a foolish
error.
If you can connect a computer to your mystery "Nighthawk" with an
Ethernet cable, then you can see if you know its current "admin"
password. If not, then a settings reset should put that back to its
default value, so that you can use a web browser to communicate with its
management web site (without knowing much else).
A little detectve work with a wireless device should tell you which
SSIDs appear and disappear when you power the mystery "Nighthawk" on and
off. If that 'a password "freshink"' is its default wireless-network
passphrase, then you might even be able to get in using a computer with
a wireless connection.
When you've discovered its actual model number, visit
http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number, and look for
Documentation. Get the User Manual (at least). Read. Look for a topic
like "Types of Logins" and/or "Factory Settings". Further reading might
not hurt, either.

Duh? Did you ever look closely at a Netgear product label?
Apparently not.
