Router blocks iPhone with iOS 15 beta
I have an r9000 router (and EX8000 extender). I recently got iOS 15 on my iPhone 12 Pro and the router is blocking the phone. I cannot unblock the phone in the Netgear software and it makes my phone worthless. The phone works perfectly with the WiFi disabled. Is there a way to unblock the phone in the Router so I can use it on WiFi again?

Are you using the app or the website to try and unblock the device? Do you use access control list on the R9000?

Re: Router blocks iPhone with iOS 15 beta
Darren, I am using the app from a Win 10 PC. I have tried every way I know to unlock it, and it stays locked. I am using access control on the R9000. It will work if I turn off access control, or allow all devices, but I need to keep the network more locked down for work computers.

Replacing which version?

Are you using access control? How, exactly?

So, if, for some reason, you were specifying the wrong MAC address to
the router, that would explain the behavior?

Re: Router blocks iPhone with iOS 15 beta
Replacing which version? iOS 15 (beta) is replacing iOS 14.7 ...
Are you using access control? How, exactly? See last response
How, exactly? Using information which you got where? In the app on the PC, using the grid in the app to allow/block devices
So, if, for some reason, you were specifying the wrong MAC address to the router, that would explain the behavior? I am not using Mac Address filtering, so this is probably not the issue

If you say so. I don't use any Netgear-supplied app, so I know
nothing. Thus, at least one of us doesn't know how "using the grid in
the app" is actually implemented.

So, your claim is that Apple removed that feature from iOS 15? If
you say so. (I might run the experiment, anyway, because I have my
doubts about that.)
