What router do you have?

what modem/gateway do you have?

What firmware is on the router?

What are the lights on the router doing? (all of them, color, blinking, etc. )

Re: Router not coming up on wireless WiFi option

Hi!
I have a nighthawkx10 and it was bought in June of 2020

The modem was updated this morning from Service Electric and it was also new in June 2020 and the modem is an Arris touchstone cm8200

The lights on router are white and just on (not blinking)

Re: Router not coming up on wireless WiFi option

so new modem?

Try this.

power off the modem and router. disconnect everything from both. (even coax from modem)

wait 2 minutes.

connect coax back to modem. power it on. give it several minutes to fully boot.

once fully booted, connect lan cable from modem to wan port on R9000.

power the router on. wait several minutes to fully boot.

See if that works.

Most ISP's only allow 1 public ip address per modem. so even if it i has multiple ethernet ports, only 1 device can connect. also, if it was just activated, it might have assigned that ip address to the activating device and not the router. so start with the procedure above.

   When you did what?

_Which_ "The lights on router"?  Did you look at them?  Did you
notice that every one with "GHz" in its title is dark?

None of that is a model number.  Look for "Model" on the product
label.  "R9000", perhaps?  Firmware version?

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your (actual) model number,
and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual (at least).  Read.
Look for the LED descriptions and "Troubleshoot".  Pay particular
attention to the "WiFi On/Off button with LED".  Did you press it?
Further reading might not hurt, either.
