Router will not connect with internet so I can’t update the firmware
I’ve been trying to update my firmware so my router can start working again. Unfortunately the router will not connect with the internet no matter how many times I’ve tried to set it up. I don’t know what else to do.

Re: Router will not connect with internet so I can’t update the firmware
Download the firmware manually and use http://192.168.1.1 to login to the Web UI of the router
Go to https://www.netgear.com/support/download/ and type in your router model. Download firmware, unzip it and use the address I mentioned to login to the router, then you can upload it

Re: Router will not connect with internet so I can’t update the firmware
I’ve done that and the router won’t connect with the internet. No internet connection means no updating the firmware. I’ve tried to go to the advanced setup and put in the MAC address on there to see if it will connect and no matter how many times I’ve done the setup, it won’t connect to the internet.
