Unable to change Network Name

I'm unable to login to routerlogin.net on either Safari or Chrome; given that, how can I change the name of my WiFi network?  During initial setup I couldn't delete the generic "admin" to reolace it with my preferred network name.

Help, please

Re: Unable to change Network Name

I resolved the problem through use of a NETGEAR site that wasn't mentioned in the initial setup information.  The site is as follows:

https://kb.netgear.com/980/How-do-I-log-in-to-my-NETGEAR-home-router

This made much more sense than fighting to get the routerlogin.net site to even open for business.  The site above is quite intuitive and permits one to easily control the router.

(The scolding I received by one responder was not at all helpful.)

   Is that accurate?

On a Mac, or what?  Connected to what, how?  (Wired?  Wireless?)

"unable" is not a useful problem description.  It does not say what
you did.  It does not say what happened when you did it.  As usual,
showing actual actions (commands) with their actual results (error
messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than vague
descriptions or interpretations.

"admin" is not a wireless-network name.

Visit http://netgear.com/support , put in your model number (or,
perhaps, nost of it), and look for Documentation.  Get the User Manual.
Read.  Look for "Types of Logins".  Further reading might be helpful,
too.
