New RAXE500 not allowing cable box to work
I have a new RAXE500 just setup. My Altafiber Encore cable box is connected direct to it via ethernet cable. On my previous router, RAX50, I had to check Disable PMF in the advanced wireless settings for the box to work correctly. The RAXE500 does not have that option in the settings. So now my cable box will not work. Does anyone know of another setting that can correct this? Thanks!

Re: New RAXE500 not allowing cable box to work
What is the model# of this cable modem?
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
Be sure your using a good quality LAN cable between the modem and router. CAT6 is recommended.
Has a power off for 1 minute then back ON with the ISP modem and router been performed since last update?
Be sure to restart your network in this sequence:
Turn off and unplug modem.
Turn off router and computers.
Plug in and turn on modem. Wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on the router and wait 2 minutes for it to connect.
Turn on computers and rest of network.

Re: New RAXE500 not allowing cable box to work
What is the model# of this cable modem? 455m-CBT
What Firmware version is currently loaded? v1.0.10.86
Like I said previously, everything worked with the RAX50 I just stopped using. Just had to check Disable PFM. The new RAXE500 does not have that option.
Have done all resets, reboots, etc in every way and order possible.

Re: New RAXE500 not allowing cable box to work
Not sure if this model router supports that feature. Thats a wifi mostly feature I believe. Should not effect WAN to LAN connection with the ISP modem or ONT.
