I am getting MANY emails EVERY day, in regards to the Netgear log blocking the below site. How do I add this site to the safe list to stop getting tons of email alerts?! I have an AX9 RAX70 Nighthawk wifi 6 router.
[site blocked: 1d.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com] from source 192.168.1.33, Wednesday, December 18, 2024 13:46:09

Ok, I figured this out! I had site blocking on in my router settings based on certain keywords. I totally disabled the site blocking function, I stopped getting the site blocked notifications. This site that was blocked completely has to do with the Microsoft store app in my Windows 11. In my router, I looked up the two assigned ip addresses with the issues. They were my desktop PC and my Microsoft Surface Pro. I opened the Microsoft store app on both, and saw that an update was stuck on each device (both different product updates, this can happen with any one of them). When I quit the download/update attempt and then restarted the update attempts, I got the error log notice via email from my router! So after temporarily turning off the site block, I could finish the Microsoft store downloads/updates. I then enabled my site blocking again and no more notices for now. I will know what to do next time this happens. I have a daughter, so I have certain keywords that may be on websites blocked and I will continue to use this feature. At least I can identify which device, and check the Microsoft store app for "stuck" downloads. Hope this helps some people.

Re: [site blocked: 1d.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com]
Do you have Armor, SPC or any filtering enabled on the router?
Is the device at .33 IP address a PC or some device that needs access to this site?
What FW version is loaded on the router?

Re: [site blocked: 1d.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com]
I do not pay for the armor subscription, so I don't have that.
The ip that ends in .33 is my main computer, that I am responding to you on currently.
My firmware is up to date, the latest "V1.0.15.146"

Re: [site blocked: 1d.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com]
Any other filtering or features enabled like Smart Parental Controls?
Does the PC get any traffic from this one site? Or is this a service site or web page?
Is there a problem accessing this site?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Has a factory reset and setup from scratch been performed since last FW update?

Re: [site blocked: 1d.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com]
I do not have smart parental controls, that is another pay for service. I am thinking it may be my microsoft outlook, but what am I going to do, not check my email (lol)? The modem is a spectrum modem (Hitron Technologies, Inc. "EN2251") with wireless gateway and router functions disabled. I have not done a from scratch setup since last FW update.

Re: [site blocked: 1d.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com]
Some people have suggested this is the windows built in app, the microsoft store. I looked at it and "windows notepad" will not start downloading and it sees an update for it. I have stopped the update, then restarted and I believe I get the netgear log warning. I stopped the download, and uninstalled this app. I use notepad++ anyways. Let's see if this helps!

Re: [site blocked: 1d.tlu.dl.delivery.mp.microsoft.com]
Glad you got it working. Please mark your thread as solved so others will know. Be sure to save off a back up configuration to file for safe keeping. Saves time if a reset is needed.
