RBR50 - app notification says Guess Wifi PN Test Deep Link

Hello,

I have an Orbi RBR50 system.  I have a guest network that is currently active and broadcasts with a password.

I just received multiple notifications from the orbi app on my phone that said

Guest Wifi PN
Guest Wifi Test Deep Link


That is all the notification says.  I can click on the notification and there is no "test deep link" option.  I tried searching the forums for that phrase and the internet and came up with nothing except some possible links to internet speed test which does not seem likely.

I turned the guest network off and I still get the notifications.

I have no idea what the message is trying to tell me.

I came here for the same notifications.  Got 3 of them about 15 minutes ago, and a 4th about 5 minutes ago.

Shut down my guest wifi thinking something was going on.  Don't see any other activity on the devices, devices themselves look normal and have MFA setup so no one else attempted login to the admin page.

Seems like Netgear is doing something.

I got the same message today. Happened randomly. Got the same notification every minute using the RBK50.. Maybe its a bug?

I also had this just happen, all were Guest WiFi Test Deep Link notifications, received 5 over a short period of time. Just turned off my Guest WiFi to be cautious

I got the notification 5 times today so far. I do have guest wifi enabled. I have no idea what it means.

orbi alert reads "guest wifi test deep link". Have received the alert multiple times on my iPhone over the past half hour.

I am getting these constantly as well. It is quite annoying. As a software engineer, I'm guessing someone is testing a software change accidentally using the production notification service.

To keep it from happening, you can turn off notifications for the app until they stop testing.

I read on other posts that many people also got these messages. Im guessing its something that Netgear is doing on their end.

And same here.  Started at 12:45 EDT.  Confirmed that Guest WiFi is OFF -- in fact, have never turned it on.

I have received the same notification four times over the course of 2 minutes.  The notification came through my iPhone app and the series are housed within the alert section of the app. The Guest WiFi was, and still is, disabled.  

I have an older RBR20 router with 3 satellites.  All firmware and software is up to date.

I don't even have a guest network set up and I've been getting them.

My Orbi mobile is suddenly messaging me, for the first time ever, about Guest Wifi testing deep links. I have no Guest Wifi turned on.

Why am I seeing these messages from my Orbi? Who is testing deep links?

Just got kicked out of my orbi admin account and it said I had too many login attempts and can try to login again after 30 minutes…

Same here RBR50, either software test going wrong or something bad. I have no guest wifi activated.

I've gotten 4-5 so far in the mobile app and don't even have Guest Network enabled.

I have an #RBR50 and the app on my iPhone. I do not have a guest network enabled. This morning, my phone popped up with 3 alerts within 4 minutes that all said, "Guest Wifi PN: Guest Wifi Test deep link" I never get Orbi notifications on my phone and this morning I got 3 with no explanation. Google results turn up nothing. Should I be concerned?
