Looking for Operating temperature Range for Orbi RBR850 Router
I have an RBR850 router that occasionally quit and had to be rebooted after waiting 10 min or so last summer. I am in Phoenix, and we had one of the hottest summers on record last summer. As we head into another summer season, I am wondering if I should move the router to another location that might be a littler cooler.
Before I go to the effort of re-configuring my network (I have a cable modem, large switch for lots of wired drops as well as the Orbi Mesh WiFi), I would like to know the operating temperature range for this router. Does anyone have any data on the operating temperature range of the Orbi RBK850?
Thanks!

Re: Looking for Operating temperature Range for Orbi RBR850 Router
Never mind. I found it in the user manual - 0C to 40C, or 32F to 104F. Doesn't look like it was temperature shutting the router off or cable modem. Perhaps my ISP was struggling with the temperatures, as well as the very old coax cable from the street to the cable modem.

Re: Looking for Operating temperature Range for Orbi RBR850 Router
What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the Internet Service Providers modem/ONT the NG router is connected too?
Something I keep under my modem and router for additional cooling:

Re: Looking for Operating temperature Range for Orbi RBR850 Router
Latest firmware for the Orbi
Netgear Nighthawk DOCSIS 3.1 Cable Modem. It also has the same operational temp range as the Orbi.
Not a bad idea - the fan.
Thanks!

Internet is through Cox and via coax cable.

Is there a FW version number and a model# of the cable modem?

On the occasions when the Orbi router was rebooted, did the modem indicate the Cox connection as good?
(the assumption is "Yes", because if the modem had no connection, rebooting the router would not restore service.)
How many times is "occasionally"?
What was the symptom that indicated the router had "quit"?
Cox has a web site and app that identify known outages:
