Orbi RBR850 Multicast Routing
I have setup Apple Homekit network at home, and connected some smart home gateways/hubs in WiFi LAN, previoulsy they have worked perfectly in Orbi RBR50 WiFi router and satellite; but they are disconnected after I have replaced/upgraded to RBR852. After a whole day troubleshooting with networking tool like tcpdump on Linux box to analyze the UDP datagram on specific IP port number, I have identified the root cause that RBR852 cannot route/handle multicast network traffic (224.0.0.x) from some of my smart home gateways which have managed many sensors and switches accessories in my home. However my old RBR50 wifi network have worked for the same setup perfectly. May I know how I can configure RBR852 WiFI system to allow multicast (IGMP) on WiFi LAN, like working in older model RBR50?
Thanks,
Alex

Re: Orbi RBR850 Multicast Routing
Hi, thanks for response, I haven't used any FW, but just simply connected the 1Gb internet link to the WAN port of Orbi RBK853 main unit.
