AP Mode and WLAN2: No acces to on-Premise mail server
Hi,
We are using the Orbi system only for WLAN mesh with ethernet backhaul purpose and have a different gateway/modem.
The employee Wifi (Wifi 2) uses our internal DNS server, which resolves on-premise server systems such as Microsoft Exchange with their internal IP addresses (internal/external DNS split). As this Wifi does not permit LAN traffic, employees cannot access on-premise server systems.
How can we configure Orbi to use a different DNS server or apply fix address names for Wifi 2 only?
Kind regards
Martin

Re: AP Mode and WLAN2: No acces to on-Premise mail server
What Firmware is currently loaded?
What is the Mfr and model# of the ISP modem or router the NG router is connected too?
If configured for AP mode then the Orbi wifi is just a traffic pass thourgh network. Orbi would not be inhibiting any kind of traffic when in AP mode.
What is WiFi2? The SSID you set on Orbi? There hsould only be one SSID for the Orbi system. Anything else is handled by the main host router.
