Link Rate Problem / Sonos
Hi there! I have two sonos speakers on my Orbi network at 2.4GHz.
One speaker gets a link rate of 54mbps, runs radio fine.
The other constantly pauses, and has a link rate of 1mbps.
Can I change the link rates? Is there a way to reset this?
Thanks!
O

Re: Link Rate Problem / Sonos
My Sonos One connects at 5G. If you provide the model numbers of the Sonos speakers, their specs will indicate if they support both bands.
The Link Rate is a consequence of the WiFi signal level. The farther devices are from a WiFi access point, the lower the signal level and lower the Link Rate.
That said, a 1mb Link Rate is suspicious. (Actually still enough for audio, but not typical.)
