ORBI crashes with 10gb nic
RBR50
I have a few devices with 10Gb nics that support 10/5/2.5/1 Gbps 10/100mbps
The Orbi will work fine for a day then completely lock up and crash if one of these devices is plugged in
I have older routers that are probally 5 years old consumer level 1Gbps that have no issues with these devices

Re: ORBI crashes with 10gb nic
Can you manually configure the speed of the 10Gb NIC for 1000mb FDX?
Whats the Mfr and model of this 10Gb NIC?
I presume these 10Gb NICs are the issue and need to be looked at. Most current Orbi devices only support 1Gb connections and 1Gb supporting devices.

Re: ORBI crashes with 10gb nic
If just the nics had issues I would agree - but a complete shut down should not happen regardless
its not the nics they are performing at the correct speed - I also use them to test other office/home equpment big and small networks never once have they brougth down an entire network or presented a problem of any kind - which is only happening with the orbi
I also have $20 routers that are 5 years old that have no issue with them

Re: ORBI crashes with 10gb nic
Did you try and manually set 1Gb connection speeds on these NICs?
What is the Mfr and Model# of these NICs?
Something you might contact NG support about. If these are the only NICs causing this and happens with the Orbi, then there maybe a compatiblity issue between them.
