Orbi RBR50 unable to change device names
Hello. I have a RBR50. I am unable to change my devices names on my network in the Orbi app and on the Web GUI. Anybody having this issue? I'm close to preforming a factory reset, but I'm looking for any cugestions.

Re: Orbi RBR50 unable to change device names
There are known device naming issues with v34 thru v40. Last known working version is v30. NG is aware of this issue.
You can try a reset to see if this solves this for you or not.

Re: Orbi RBR50 unable to change device names
Alas, if device naming is important to you, the only solution is to download the 2.3.5.30 release from Netgear support, unzip the router and satellite files, and then do a manual firmware update using the Orbi web interface. So sad.
If you are willing to ignore device names, you may be able to avoid the pain.
