I have read prior post of people having problems with the Orbi and ATT U-verse wireless. I wonder if there is a new fix to resolve the issue with using the Orbi system in AP mode as the primary broadcast for ATT U-verse wireless cable boxes. My wireless boxes continue to freeze after approximately 5 to 10 minutes and report lost signal. Also in AP mode is there anyway to identify connected devices? All connected devices show up as unknown on my Orbi app.
Modem Combo Units: Couple of options, 1. Configure the modem for transparent bridge mode. Then use the Orbi router in router mode. 2. If you can't bridge the modem, disable ALL wifi radios on the modem, configure the modems DMZ for the IP address the Orbi router gets from the modem. Then you can use the Orbi router in Router mode. 3. Or disable all wifi radios on the modem and connect the Orbi router to the modem, LAN to LAN and configure AP mode on the Orbi router.
