Re: Wired backhaul disables WiFi on satellite

Hi,
I have a mesh setup with RBS50 satellites; one of these is placed in a garden room and has a wired backhaul, so:
RBS50 (garden room) -> wired -> RBS50 (house) -> wireless -> RBK50 router
The satellite in the garden room shows as a wired connection type and the devices hardwired into it work fine. I can connect to it from a computer on the wireless network in my house. The issue is the RBS50 in the garden room has no WiFi available and if I load up the satellite's web page the status is "The Orbi satellite can't connect to the Orbu router" - which is not true as I can access it from a computer in my house and the devices plugged into the satellite have an innternet connection. On the status page of the satellite it has 2.4GHz (Disabled) and 5GHz (Disabled).
I didn't think it was possible to disable the WiFi? It also has "Wireless AP: Off".
What am I doing wrong? does it need to be in WiFi range of the house satellites to offer the mesh on the satellite? surely having the wired backhaul is enough?!
Thanks for any help!

Yeah I tried factory resetting it. I think I've just found the culprit - I had a GS308EP switch plugged into the satellite with the wired backhaul (as I need some PoE ports for IP cameras) and that seems to cause it to do weird things. If I remove the switch I get the wired backhaul + wifi works as expected.
I'm going to try a PoE injector instead of a switch, hopefully that will cause less of an issue but it seems like a strange problem, they're both Netgear products...

Screenshot of the satellite connections
All satellites are running latest firmware V2.7.4.24
