Connectivity and bandwidth re: Pro GS108T-300UKS managed switch
Hi all,
Trying to help a customer get connected up. They are using a Cityfibre FTTP connection via Zen Internet, and they are using a Google Mesh router. Unfortunately, the router is not compatible when it gets plugged into the ONT, it will not support VLAN911 as confirmed by Google.
To that end, I have found a small managed switch (Pro GS108T-300UKS) which I think may be able to bridge 2 ports and allow traffic to flow, and the customer's router to authenticate with the ISP's RADIUS.
My questions are:
Is the switch rated to a gigabit in terms of network throughput, or less?
Has anyone carried out a similar task and if so, is there any guidance to corroborate what we are trying to do?
Thank you

Of course, these switches are providing fully line speed, the switch fabric does provide a 16 Gbps line-rate, covering bi-directional wire speed on all ports.
