GS724Tv3 Can't generate text configuration

Can't generate text configuration.
choose "Maintenance", next "download", next "HTTP File Download", next "Select File",
next create a file with the extension "*.stk"
This file is not intended for this product!
Why is that and how to fix it???Please help.

Do you intend to retrieve the current config file from the switch or do you have a backup config you like to push to the switch?

Be aware Netgear used a confusing logic for upload (from the switch to the computer) vs. download (from the computer to the switch) on this older switches.

Suspected this. On this older Netgear switch Web UI you need to use the Upload (switch to computer) control.

Don't worry @Semen_Petrov , us "young" networking people often hit this on the old UI design. It was aparently designed by a Professor in Physics. "Imagine you sit on that point in the switch and see things around you. ..." Took me a while to get this logic changed on the early implementatins of the new UI. And I'm approaching 60 years 8-).
