Netgear GS108Ev3 Switch supports 32 VLANs but you can only select VLANS1-8?
FIXED: just had to go to the 802.1Q tab to add vlans
Hi,
In the webpage and in the proSAFE Configuration Utility, there are just 8 VLANS predefined (1-8) and I cannot create any new VLANS (my home network used VLANs 10-20). However, in the spec sheet it says that this switch supports up to 32 VLANs? How can that be? There is also no command line interface. I feel a bit scammed, am I missing something here? I must be I guess? Firmware and utilities all latest versions.

The not less than four different VLAN (mutually exclusive - changing the mode does reset any existing config) modes are indeed more than confusing.
Unless the admin knows there is never something more complex required, it's strongly suggested using 802.1Q -> Advanced for the VlAN config from the start.
