M4250-26G4F-PoE++ stuck on the first booting cycle
I turned on an M4250-26G4F-PoE++ just taken out of the box and it is stuck in the first boot cycle, the power LED stays amber and the fan runs at full speed, it has been like this for about an hour, I tried to factory reset it by the clip but it doesn't restart, what can I do?

Re: M4250-26G4F-PoE++ stuck on the first booting cycle
Hi @leobelp84 ,
Very sorry about this situation, it is like someone else first tried to upgrade the switch and software got corrupted somehow. We need to use the console (please install the USB driver first before connecting the USB-C cable to the switch from the M4250 support page https://www.netgear.com/support/product/m4250/#download) and try to interrupt the boot pressing Q in order to load using the backup firmware image. If not working, then we need to reflash the switch using "load new software" using the boot menu using TFTP and an older 13.0.2.37 version - before re-upgrading manually to the latest. Please send the team an email at ProAVDesign@netgear.com and one System Engineer will offer you a Zoom or Teams call to get it done quickly.

Re: M4250-26G4F-PoE++ stuck on the first booting cycle
Forgot to say, for the hardware factory reset: please gently insert a clip into the reset pin hole and stay pushing it for 5-7 seconds until all LEDs are flashing. It should trigger a reboot then (a single press is triggering fast reboot but here the software is stuck so must be ineffective). Longer press (6-7 seconds) is forcing the factory reset at the lower level.
