M4250 switches - AMG731F 1G SFP module in 10G SFP+ slot

Hello,
I am trying to link an AV Line M4250-10G2F-PoE+ (GSM4212P) to an M4250-26G4XF-PoE+ (GSM4230PX), using 2x AMG731F 1G SFP Modules,
The 10G SFP+ port in the 26G4XF does not seem to like the AMG731F 1G SFP module.
Connecting two M4250-10G2F’s together with the same modules and LC cable works successfully.
Do the SFP+ ports in the 10G M4250 switches not support 1Gb SFP modules? I am at a bit of a loss…!
@LaurentMa perhaps you have the answer?
Many thanks,
George

Hi George,
Both the M4250-10G2F-PoE+ (GSM4212P) and the M4250-26G4XF-PoE+ (GSM4230PX), support the AGM731F module, and, the M4250-26G4XF-PoE+ has four ports whichs are SFP+ but, they should auto negotiate to 1G or 10G, depending on what's connected at the other end.
If you can forward your Tech Support files from both switches, with the fibre connection connected, to the ProAV Design team, we will help you get this resolved.
You can reach the Pro AV design team on proavdesign@netgear.com and one of the team will help you get this resolved.
Thanks!

Re: M4250 switches - AMG731F 1G SFP module in 10G SFP+ slot
Thanks Michael, that is what I expected to be the case.
I will send the support files to the team and report back here with whatever solution is found!
Best,
George
