ReadyNAS 200 Series

We've introduced the ReadyNAS 200 series at CES 2015. It is available in two- and four-bay desktop models (RN202, RN204) for media enthusiasts, photo hobbyists, and the home power user.

The ReadyNAS 200 series is powered by a Dual Core Cortex A15 1.4 GHz processor, 2 gigabytes (GB) of Random Access Memory (RAM), and dual Gigabit Ethernet ports with Link Aggregation technology. You’ll love the performance of ReadyNAS 200 for faster backups and faster file access, especially if you have a newly upgraded 802.11ac WiFi network. ReadyNAS 200 transfers files up to an amazing 200 MBps* (megabytes per second), double the throughput of competing devices in its class.

“Our ReadyNAS 200 Series is simply the best storage solution on the market today for the home power user,” said Matt Pahnke, senior product marketing manager for NETGEAR Storage. “It outclasses the competition in every way that counts – in performance, speed, memory, data protection, and ease of use. It’s jam-packed with 100-plus advanced features and add-on apps so you can customize it to meet your particular needs. There’s no other NAS today aimed at media streaming enthusiasts and photos hobbyists that offers this caliber of performance and protection.”

NETGEAR ReadyNAS 200 Series will be available in late January at an MSRP in the U.S. of $359.99 for a diskless 2-bay model (RN202) and $499.99 for a diskless 4-bay model (RN204).
