I have been running 6.9.4 since shortly after it was released back in May, but starting on June 22nd I beleive I have had 3 seperate hangs of the ReadyNas Pro 6. My Pro 2 is also running 6.9.4 and hasn't seen an issue, but also gets much less activity. The first time I wasn't available so I my son rebooted it before I could look at it. I then hung up again about 4 or 5 days ago and at that time I could ping it, but not get to any shares or onto the Web Admin page. I had to hard power cycle it and when it came back up I did disable the only running App which was a Plex server. Today I found it had hung up again and I couldn't reach any shares, admin page or ping it. I hard power cycled it again and completely removed the Plex App, but thought I would go ahead and post to see if anyone has seen anything similar. I have downloaded the logs from the 22nd and today and will upload them as well

I can see one of your disks has very high SMART error counts (see disk_info.log and smart_history.log) though those counts haven't increased for some months so the disk might not be the problem.
Have you tried e.g. running the memory (RAM) test boot menu option at least for a few passes?
Is your backup up to date?
Btw I noticed that you've got a long upgrade history on this unit including numerous betas (see initrd.log)

thanks for taking a look. I did know about the smart errors from last October I think it was. I also had a different drive that failed which was only a couple months old when I had to replace it.
I have not tried running a memory test yet, but can give that a shot.
I do have backups.
And yes both of them get upgrades quite often when I catch something new has been out. These are just for home use so its no the end of the world if one of them is down for a bit.
I'm not sure which log it was when I was looking through them, but I thought I saw something about some recent Read errors. Let me go back through them and see where I saw that. I will post the log file name and date/time once I can find it.

I think what I saw was in the kernel.log file. It was a couple days though before it hung up. I'm guessing by the name of it this must be part of one of the jobs to check the drive or balance.
On the 3rd at 20:18 and the 4th at 9:06 am there are messages about "read error corrected"
I think the most recent time it hung up around 2am on the 7th. In the systemd-journal.log file it was spamming these messages shortly before it stopped working:
