ReadyNASOS 6.5.2-T500 (Beta 2)
I started a backup on ReadNAS104 like many times before using6.5 and after a short time the nas was frozen.
Ping was OK but no answer to browser and ssh. On the LCD was the message: __percpi_counter_add+3c.
After a power off and on the NAS is up and running. On the admin page the backup job is marked as canceled.
Backup log is: No backup log exists for this job.
Firmware: ReadyNASOS 6.5.2-T500 (Beta 2) , Model: RN104

Re: ReadyNASOS 6.5.2-T500 (Beta 2)
I'm seeing a lot of upgrades and downgrades between 6.2.x and 6.3.x
I also see you've used SSH to do things including doing
# apt-get upgrade
as well as a dist-upgrade
both of which are not recommended.
We do try to pin some packages but we can't make sure we've pinned everything.
We will be upgrading from Debian 7 (wheezy) to Debian 8 (jessie) in 6.6.0. If you want to use Debian 8 now you should try 6.6.0 Beta 2 (after backing up your data, of course).
Considering all this it would probably be best if you backed up your data, did a factory reset (wipes all data, settings, everything) and got a clean system and restored your data from backup.
