RAIDiator 4.2.20 T40: iSCSI and ESXi 5 issues
Hi,
I have successfully installed ESXi 5.0 on iSCSI target. But when it is trying to boot from this iSCSI target then there is an error:
[iBoot-04]: Bootable partition is not found.
Then i checked and come to know that ReadyNAS is using iSCSI v4.2.12.
I was using RAIDiator 4.2.19.
Then i upgraded to RAIDiator 4.2.20-T40.
But still its showing iSCSI v4.2.12.
As you know ESXi 5.0 is using GPT insted of MBR for disk partitioning and iSCSI v4.2.12 doesn't support GPT.
Does it mean RAIDiator 4.2.20-T40 is not working with ESXi 5.0?
Please help me out.
Thanks.

Re: RAIDiator 4.2.20 T40: iSCSI and ESXi 5 issues
4.2.20 works with ESXi, and using GPT.
Booting ESX off an iSCSI target has not been tested, that is not part of the VMware Ready certification.
