Upgraded to Beta 3 and NAS is not functioning correctly. Few observations.
1. On the System Admin Page it shows the NAS share but it displays 'Calculaing...' Assume this is normal?
2. My external hard drive is no longer showing up in 'System Admin' page
3. Backup reports 'Backup location no longer exists' suspect, this is tied to item #2 since the external HD is not loading. The drive is a Seagate 4tb external USB 3.0.
Troubleshooting Steps Completed:
- Powered the NAS down and same results for external HD. It does not show up/load
- Checked the external drive for errors by connecting it to another computer. No issues reported, drive comes up fine without issue.
- Connected drive to following OS & OSX platforms and the drive is . W7 Pro, Win8.1 Pro, Win10 (both GA/CP) OSX: Mavericks, Yosemite & El Captain
- **Note: External HD was working prior to upgrade to T127 and was displaying in web admin page
Anyone have thoughts/suggestions? Understand this is a beta firmware, and risks associated with upgrading. I'd assume it will fixed in a future beta release or production release. But want to let Netgear now about the issue, and if I can be of help in diagnosing the issue and/or providing log files to determine what might be the issue so, that way it can be queue up for remediation in a future beta build and/or GM release.
