Long load times and indexing
Whenever I access the NAS over WebDAV from outside my network, it takes quite some time to load the directory contents for each and every directory accessed. I thought this might be due to indexing issues, but then found out that the indexing is fixed to 7 file types, only 3 of which I use regularly.
1. Does anyone know how to speed up (cache) directory access?
2. Can I change the filetypes it is indexing?

Re: Long load times and indexing
Welcome to the Community!
WebDAV works behind the scenes over the HTTP protocol, giving users a single, consistent way to access and write documents residing on remote servers from multiple vendors. It then tells you what you want to keep and cached a copy of it. Regarding load times, it might depend on how many files are being loaded. It will be helpful if you can provide a more detailed info on how slow you are getting or what are the issues you are getting when it loads so the Community might be able to help 🙂
