Readynas duo v2 not starting after power failure
We had yesterday powerfailure and now the unit will not boot correctly nor is visible in Raidar.
After power up; Power button LED, USB and backup status LED, disk 1 LED, and disk 2 LED gets lights on (not blinking) stays like this for hours..no change. Can not power down from power button.
Tried the reset option provided as soulution is other similar post here in community :
Can not get to the boot mode as pushing the Backup button all lights (except power button) goes dark and the lights rotation (to choose the correct boot (OS reinstall) does not happen.
This after following the guide to:
To access the boot menu:
- Power off your storage system.
- Using a straightened paper clip, press and hold the Reset button.
- Press the Power button to power on your system.
- Continue to press the Reset button until the Power button LED, USB and backup status LED, disk 1 LED, and disk 2 LED illuminate.
- Release the Reset button.
- Press the Backup button to scroll through boot mode options.
Your system shows the boot mode options using the LEDs, as described in the following table:Any idea what I'm doing wrong here ?
Thank you.

Hi Soiski71,
Welcome to the Community!
You can try powering on the NAS without the disks in it and then check if RAIDar will detect it with a status of 'No disks detected. If RAIDar can't still detect the NAS even without the disks, the issue is most likely with the chassis.
Note: Please label the disks with their corresponding bay before removing them from the chassis.

Thank John,
Still the same when Disks removed. All lights (except activity) light up, but Raidar does not see it. Looking from my switch it does not get IP either , but the ethernet connector though is blinking as it would be doing "something".
Accessing the boot mode does not work either. Pressing Backup button only switches all lights out (as it does if rebooting with out reset button pressed on power on) so No recycling of boot mode possible.

Hi Soiski71,
Since you are still getting the same issue even without the disks, the issue is most likely with the chassis already.
It will be best to confirm first if your NAS is a Duo v1 or v2 because the product label of this NAS model can be confusing. One way to determine is to check the front panel of the chassis (The other labels on the chassis should be ignored). If it only has ReadyNAS Duo in it, then it is a Duo v1. If it says ReadyNAS Duo v2 on the front panel, then it is a Duo v2.
