No, http://developer.netgear.com doesn't work for me. Chrome returns: "Oops. Google chrome cannot connect to developer.netgear.com". IE returns: "Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage".
Pinging developer.netgear.com resolves to 172.27.100.39 but request times out.

172.x is private, like 192.168. Sounds like you have DNS issues somewhere.

Yep, and I don't have control over dns servers. I hope adding the site in host file is a temp solution.
