Transmission 2.82 on ReadyNAS Ultra (4.2.26) stopped working
Hello,
I've just upgraded to Transmission 2.82 (had 2.77 before I think) and ReadyNAS 4.2.26 (previously had 4.2.24). After these upgrades Transmission has stopped working/doesn't download torrents. With the previous versions it worked flawless for about a year since I bought the NAS.
The Transmission service seems to be fine, since it's "green" all the time when I look on installed add-ons in the ReadyNAS GUI. It also works fine to add a torrent-file in the specified folder I have in settings.json --> the torrent-file is processed and get ".added" directly.
The problem is that the download itself never starts, which of course is very frustrating.
This is the error message I get in "daemon.log":
Apr 6 22:50:48 AlbansNAS transmission-daemon[7222]: blocklist skipped invalid address at line 1 (blocklist.c:367)
Apr 6 22:50:48 AlbansNAS transmission-daemon[7222]: blocklist skipped invalid address at line 2 (blocklist.c:367)
Apr 6 22:53:48 AlbansNAS chronyd[2616]: Selected source 209.249.181.52
Apr 6 23:00:39 AlbansNAS transmission-daemon[7222]: Closing session
Apr 6 23:02:42 AlbansNAS transmission-daemon[9352]: blocklist skipped invalid address at line 1 (blocklist.c:367)

Apr 6 23:27:15 AlbansNAS transmission-daemon[12745]: blocklist skipped invalid address at line 2 (blocklist.c:367)
This is what I've tried:
- The file '''blocklist.log" contains this:
localhost:8181/transmission/rpc/ responded: "success"
This doesn't say much to me, but at the same time is doesn't feel that something is wrong either..?
- I've reinstalled Transmission and removed all folders/files that remains on the NAS. After this I've installed Transmission again. Have tried this with version 2.77 and 2.82, but get the same problem.
- Have doublechecked the settings for 'download-dir', 'incomplete-dir' and 'watch-dir' in the file 'settings.json'.
These folder are maintained manually on the NAS by the way.
- The setting 'use port forwarding from my router' is checked in the setting you can use in Transmission. The port 51413 also is 'open' according to Transmission.
- Have manually opened the ports 51413 and 8181 in my router towards my NAS
- Have checked the setting 'Set ownership and permissions for existing files and folders on this distribution according to the settings above. This option is useful if you change security levels and have a problem with file access that must be circumvented.' available under 'Shares / Advanced Options' for my media folder on the NAS.
- The exact same torrent-files works perfectly when I use utorrent to download directly to my PC
After this I'm out of ideas. I'm not a network- or NAS-expert, but are quite used to computers and ususally I'm able to google around to understand the basics. In this case I can't really find another more to try.
To me it seems that the latest ReadyNAS-version (4.2.26) can't handle Transmission 2.82, or the other way around? It feels like the only thing I havn't tried is to downgrade the verison on NAS. However I don't find how to do that in the GUI, and also don't feel like messing around too much with the NAS itself..
I would really appreciate if someone can help me with this!
I both hope and think that someone else have the latest versions of both ReadyNAS and Transmission, which should mean that other people have faced the same problems.

Re: Transmission 2.82 on ReadyNAS Ultra (4.2.26) stopped wor
Hmm, now this feels really strange for me.
I just downgraded ReadyNas to 4.2.24 and Transmission 2.77, but still have the exact same issue. From my point of view nothing is changed in my environment. My router hasn't been touched this whole period. I have also tried to delete and deactivate blocklists for Transmission without any luck as well as reinstalled Transmission several times with different versions.
Does someone have any ideas!?
