Unable to remove iredmail App

I have installed iredmail to play a bit around with it. Now I want to remove iredmail again because i'm not using it and it just needs space. Everytime I try to remove iredmail using the GUI I just get a mail which is telling me:

Cannot uninstall application iredmail.

I also tried to remove it using dkpg but with no luck. Does anyone has an idea why this is happening? I installed iredmail using the Netgear APP store which is build in in the GUI.

Regards,

Oberschelm

Re: Unable to remove iredmail App

Well maybe removing the directory for the app under /apps would be enough then.

Re: Unable to remove iredmail App

Hi BrianL,

I had this issue with 6.4.2 and now also with 6.5.0. My ReadyNAS is the RN102.

I see the app in the GUI but if I do:

dpkg --list | grep iredmail

I do not see the software installed.

Re: Unable to remove iredmail App

Thanks a lot. That "solved" the issue. After moving the /apps/iredmail away from /apps I do not see Iredmail under the installed Apps.
