Volume disappeared on my NAS
Hi all,
I have a NAS device which was recommended by a friend. I was using it for a while but then unplugged it a few months ago and now that I'm trying to use it again the admin page shows that there are no volumes present and it keeps asking me to set up a new NAS device. I'm not sure how to solve this. I did some research and it suggested checking if it's in safe mode but I didn't understand how to check that. I've re-seated the hard drive a couple of times and still no change.
Any suggestions / help would be amazing as I'm not an expert on these things.
Thanks!

Re: Volume disappeared on my NAS
Do you care about the data that was on the NAS? Or is it ok to delete it.

Re: Volume disappeared on my NAS
Ideally we'd like to keep the data although if it isn't possible then I guess a factory reset may take care of it?

Re: Volume disappeared on my NAS
A factory reset would take care of it (setting everything up from scratch).
It's possible that you could use Netgear paid support, or ReclaiMe BTRFS recover software - but they would be pretty expensive.
