[Resolved] Can't see shares on Android (unless Anonymous)
I've installed ReadyNAS Remote (v1.0.9.81) onto Duov2 (5.3.5)
I've also downloaded the the Windows client and the Android client(1.1)
Within Windows I can access all the shares and files as expected.
However when I try to use the Android client I see a blank page after logging onto the NAS. I ensure the FTP username and password matches the User details on the share.
I can manage to get a connection and see files if I set a share access to 'Everyone' and then log on via RNR using 'Anonymous' but this isn't secure enough for me and want people only to be allowed to see the sahres they are authorised to.
Can anyone assist in getting it to work with users?

Re: Can't see shares on Android (unless Anonymous)
Resolved:
For the sake of others having a similar problem, here's the fix on how to get Android access for non-anonymous shares 😄
On Dashboard
1. Set the shares to FTP
2. (The missing step) Goto Services (under System) and select FTP. Now set the Authenticate Mode to User
On the Android
1. Start ReadtNAS Remote and enter the username and password for Remote access (not the share username and password) and connect
2. Long press on the NAS name. This will allow entry to the FTP settings where you can enter the share username and password (and disable anonymous)
On a side note. I'm very disappointed by the lack of Netgear Support activity on these forums  . I've had no reply and had several problems so far with the device, and for something sold as 'simple' to set up it's very disappointing.
I've other Netgear products and have been very happy with them, even this product has some very good features, however firmware is only just past the beta stage, and support seems non-existent. Come on Netgear, please be more involved. - Flame over :slap:
