Tranmission can't write files; 'Permission Denied'
Transmission cannot write any files to the disk, coming up with a 'permission denied' error. I know it's something to do with file permissions, but I'm struggling to work out where to start for a fix. Is this a common/known issue? Any ideas how to fix it?

Re: Tranmission can't write files; 'Permission Denied'
Turns out there's an option to fix permissions in frontview, under shares. Now it seems to be crashing though, hurrah!

Re: Tranmission can't write files; 'Permission Denied'
I know this is an old thread, but I had this problem and couldn't find a working solution anywhere, so I thought I'd post my answer for posterity.
The firmware on my NV+ V2 seems not to support the permissions tweaking suggested by other tutorials. Instead, I deleted the target folder (in my case, /c/Wardenclyffe/Downloads) and allowed Transmission to create it itself. Easy-peasy.
