cannot enable modules PHP 5.3.20 (x86)

I can not enable the modules in the new php add-on from readynasxtras. I check the modules and click "save module config". Frontview says it has saved changes, but the modules are then unchecked and are not activated when I look in phpinfo.

Which modules did you attempt to enable?

Try re-installing the add-on. This looks like something went wrong during installation.

Re-installing the add-on solved the issue. Now all modules are enabled by default.
