Replacing the ReadyNas Pro 2
We somehow missed the memo that the ReadyNas Pro 2 is no longer being updated. And it is no longer syncing with our cloud in Egnyte. We are trying to figure out the best product for us. We only have 220 GB stored on it and it needs to sync with Egnyte but also back up as well. Any advice would be appreciated!
Thanks!

Re: Replacing the ReadyNas Pro 2
With that little data a 2-bay would be all you'd need.
We've just released the RN422 and I think that would be the best unit for you.

Re: Replacing the ReadyNas Pro 2
The Pro 2 can be (unofficially) upgraded to OS 6.x. Given your useage, I suspect that would take care of you.

Re: Replacing the ReadyNas Pro 2
That is an option, but NETGEAR Support wouldn't be able to help if you run into issues doing that.
Of course some would get a new unit, move across to using that then upgrade their old Pro 2 to OS6 and use the Pro 2 to hold the local backup. It can be handy to have a local backup so you can get up and running quickly in the event your main unit goes down.
