Can't Connect to this network

Hi, I have a new Lenovo ThinkPad Yoga 14 (Windows 10) with a "Intel(R) Dual Band Wireless-AC 8260" which I am unable to connect to my WNDR3400v2 router. Other existing devices like iOS are connected through the router and work fine. I get the message "Checking Network Requirements" and a while later get "Can't Connect to this network".
I have tried entering the wrong password and get informed of such, so it appears that the connection is being attempted.
The wired connection is working all right.
I tried security 'None' briefly. But, no success. I am also unable to connect to the Guest Network.
The router has been rebooted.
I am still able to wirelessly connect on my old Window 7 laptop.
I am new to Windows 10. Is there a Windows setting that I am missing? Do you think I need a new router?
Adapter Driver - Intel latest version (19.0.1.1) Just Updated
Router S/w - Latest Version (V1.0.0.52_1.0.81) Just Updated
Any Help is appriciated.
Thanks
Bill

Have you tried a simple reset?
Have you tried a reset to factory defaults.
You might mention which band 2.4 or 5g

Re: Can't Connect to this network
Can you connect to any wifi network with the new Lenovo?
From your account, my suspicion would be a problem there. Does it have any new drivers for the wifi bit?
Is Windows 10 fully up to date. Microsoft shipped it with some crummy generic drivers that broke quite a few things.

Re: Can't Connect to this network
Thanks for the reply.
When my iphone is set as a personal hotspot, I am able to connect successfully and have an internet connection. I have tried connecting to my neighbors wifi. Since I don't know the password, I am denied because of a bad password.
I am not exactly sure what you mean by wifi bit, so I am not sure about drivers.
I did update the driver on the wireless adapter.
Windows is up to date.

Are you saying that the Lenovo can connect with wifi through the iPhone?
If so, that is what I was trying to determine. Your first message gave no hint about the Lenovo's ability to do anything wifi.
The "wifi bit" was a reference to the wireless drivers on the Lenovo. You seem to have that sorted.
So it looks like there is an issue with the Lenovo and the WNDR3400v2.
Have you been through the troubleshooting steps (p 107) for wifi in the manual?
If the Lenovo supports WPS – the manual describes this on p36 – have you tried using that to connect the two devices?

Re: Can't Connect to this network
Success!
Thanks for all your help.
It looks looks the Factory Reset did the trick.
Thanks Again
