The firmware for the WNR2000V4 1.0.0.66 is no good.
I had it installed onto two of these routers. One was the DHCP to the modem the other provided an AP Wireless or Access Point for the public.
Everything connected to one that was the DHCP server would stop handing out IP addresses or renew leases at random and everything that was internet connected stopped working. This includes phones, tablets, 2 printers, 1 laptop and one desktop PC.
The firmware 1.0.0.60 that fixed the SOAP API Flaw was the best version. Which ran 1 year with no issues.
Its a shame that I can't load DD-wrt these v4 units. Which makes the WNR2000v2 superior product.

Well its been a month and everything is working fine with the firmware 1.0.0.60. No more complaints about the computers or printers not working.
So if anyone has one of these just stick with the 1.0.0.60 firmware and they will be fine.

It isn't always necessary, but if you have problems after a firmware flash, you should reset the thing to factory settings.

Re: Netgear 2000v4 Firmware 1.0.0.66
I did everything by going to factory defaults. Then resetting up everything still happened.
I installed the older 1.0.0.60 firmware that fixed the SOAP API attack. Which I knew that one worked for over a year without issues.
Im going to wait and see if this issue happens again on 1.0.0.60 firmware.
